Welcome to the English version of the Institute’s new homepage
We are happy to present the first English version of the Institute’s new homepage. We hope you will find it useful and informative.
The Danish version went on-line in the spring of 2009; we will publish the Danish pages in English as and when they are translated.
If you take a look at the contents you will see that there are many new features, and more are on their way. The following can serve as examples: an extended introduction to Martinus’ world picture, Martinus’ answers to a series of questions, articles based on current themes, suggestions for people who are new to Martinus’ world picture, a presentation of all of Martinus’ books, a presentation of the 44 symbols and brief explanations of them, information about courses and lectures, historical information as well as information about the various tasks and the voluntary work at the Martinus Institute in Frederiksberg, Copenhagen and at the Martinus Centre in Klint.
Reading Martinus’ books on-line is now possible using a special function. You can also, as before, search the books for specific words and sentences. For the moment the function covers Livets Bog (The Book of Life) 1, 2 and 4 and The Eternal World Picture 2, but will gradually be expanded to include the remaining translated works.
Last but not least there is our internet bookshop shop.martinus.dk, which has been operational since the beginning of 2009. Here you can buy Martinus’ books in English and in many other languages.
The aim of the homepage is to inspire people who may be interested in studying Martinus’ analyses, and to provide a relevant information service for all those who are interested.
As already mentioned, we can present only a first version here; we therefore request your patience and understanding when, for some time yet, you come across a message saying: "This page is in preparation". We are currently translating these pages into English and several other languages.
We would also like to mention that a "historical information centre" is being built up on the homepage, a centre that caters for those who are particularly interested in the development of the life and activities of Martinus, and the historical development of his works. This information includes digital editions of Martinus’ original manuscripts, the first editions of his books, correction lists and the like. The latter information is of course available only in Danish, the original language, but we are making links from the English version here so that those from the English-speaking world who are particularly interested in this historical material can also get an impression of it.
We hope that you will enjoy the new homepage. You are welcome to comment on it and make suggestions for improvement. Write to info@martinus.dk
With best wishes
The Martinus Institute
