Symbol 25
The Karma of Mankind

A Summary Explanation of Symbol No. 25 - The Karma of Mankind

The symbol symbolises terrestrial mankind’s present karma or epoch of fate. The law of karma results in the effects of the evil or the good that one has done towards one’s neighbour coming back and creating corresponding karma for oneself. The fate of terrestrial mankind as a whole consists of the collected fate of all individual terrestrial human beings. Because of people’s limited faculty to love, they experience epochs with violent, concentrated releases of karma in the form of war or states of war. A major cause of mankind’s dark karma is meat-eating. By undergoing the painful crises that karma results in, mankind will gradually draw closer to a perfect, humane way of living.

The main details of the symbol:

  • The star at the top symbolises the principle of world redemption.
  • The orange rays emanating from the star symbolise the primitive, murderous religions, while the yellow rays symbolise the humane world religions. The white ray in the middle symbolises the solution to the mystery of life as science.
  • The two flames on the left and right that are heading for the two lower thirds of the symbol symbolise two returning dark arcs of fate that will affect mankind by triggering Armageddon or the Day of Judgment.
  • The bottom right dark section of the circle symbolises long-lasting pain and suffering, such as disablement, torture, mutilation and the destruction of cultural assets.
  • The somewhat lighter section on the left symbolises the effects of arcs of fate that instantaneously or very quickly lead to death.
  • The yellow sections in the upper third symbolise the influence of the humane world religions on mankind. The blue area symbolises mankind’s humane cultural creations, such as art, literature, technology and science.
