Explanation of symbol no. 29
29.2  Like symbol no. 28 the present symbol symbolises the eternal life of living beings. This life constitutes, as we already know, an eternal, alternating, direct and indirect road towards, and journey in, the very highest light. We see that the steps are surrounded by something resembling a white mist. This symbolises X1. At the sides we see a faint touch of violet, which here symbolises X2. Here these two X's symbolise the combined X1's and X2's of all living beings. They form, as we also already know, the X1 and X2 of the Godhead, which in turn means the Godhead's I and creative ability. The other coloured areas in the symbol symbolise the organisms of all existing living beings, all of which of course belong to the realm of created things. Together these likewise constitute the organism of the Godhead, which in turn is the same as the eternal universe, and so it becomes apparent that the Godhead is a living being. And in this way all living beings are within the Godhead, and the Godhead is within them. And since the living beings are the Godhead's tools of consciousness and manifestation, one here understands how it is possible for the Godhead to be almighty, omniscient and all-loving, and likewise how he can be omnipresent.
