The Christmas Gospel
Chapter 33
The downfall of the animal kingdom and the "resurrection of Christ" in the terrestrial human being
That which makes the terrestrial human being into a "Christ-child" will thus be this, that in its evolution onwards towards a whole new sphere of life it is moving away from the animal state and is now moving quickly on towards a new state, in which one does not marry and where one is not born of a woman, since there are here neither men nor women, and where the survival of the species is therefore maintained by a mental process, which takes the form of a self-fertilisation.
But this state still belongs to the kingdom that is "not of this world".
It is no wonder that the terrestrial human being's marital relationships and sexual area are subject to great fluctuations, and the beings appear to deviate in many ways from the purely male and female or the so-called natural sexuality, and that their marriages are faltering, while at the same time they are going forward in the development of art and science, technology and chemical ability or the entire layer of consciousness that lies above the animal.
In great style they have outlived the "animal sexuality" and now begin to represent an entirely new state of being.
They can master the elements; they can direct matter using operator panels, contacts and photocells.
This ability is the incipient fashioning in "God's image".
It is the beginning Christ-consciousness or the mentality of the perfect human being that is stirring.
But, on the contrary, still the individual lacks this skill and ability in its treatment of the living life or in the relationship towards its neighbour.
And it is this shortcoming that determines that the terrestrial human being must still be in the "animal kingdom", in the zone of war, egoism and professional jealousy.
When it becomes as knowledgeable in the spiritual areas as it is today in the technical-chemical areas, and this skilfulness has been transformed into material and bodily ability, then the being will have become a perfect "Christ-being".
Then it has attained its purpose and become a complete "image of God after his likeness".
But until this happens the terrestrial human being must still live in the decay and degeneration of its animal mentality and in the incipient growth of its real human- or Christ-mentality and the more or less unfortunate transitional fate, unhappy marital state and confusing perception of daily life as a random blend of evil and good resulting from this.
The good in the being – the growing culture, humanity and neighbourly love – will thus be the sunrise of the "kingdom of heaven" in the being's mentality, while the fight against evil, hatred and persecution, sorrow and suffering, will be the downfall of the "animal kingdom" in the same mentality.
With this transformation of consciousness, the "Christ-being" in the form of the perfect terrestrial human being emerges from the dark graves of death to the sparkling, radiant profusion of eternal life.
And a new initiated being extols the eternal Father from the continents and gardens of earth.
The son of God has become "the resurrection and the life".
In his eyes sparkles neighbourly love, which in turn is the same as immortality, infinity and eternity.
