144. First category in group B. In considering this and the two following categories, they will be shown as parallel to the categories in Group A but appearing at a less advanced level of consciousness. Just as the consciousness of those within the first category of Group A was formed of an equal combination of intelligence and feeling, so it is with those in the first category of Group B, apart from the fact that both the mentioned factors of consciousness are of a slightly more primitive nature than in Group A. Those people are genuine subjects of divine suggestion and therefore appear as sincere and true believers. Therefore, they are the most refined and most advanced within Group B, and as far as their spiritual attitude and knowledge make it possible, they work on developing a certain amount of neighbourly love, appearing as good and useful citizens. Also within this category one might find those who show the beginnings of understanding and tolerance towards other religious sects, not giving offence by too much religious preaching. They are calm and controlled, and, like the others within Group B, they are not very far forward in the degeneration of the animal kingdom within themselves and so here we can find a high degree of successful marriages. As the religious knowledge and concepts of the individuals within Group B do not to any great extent run counter to normal ideas about meat-eating and the consequent release of the killing principle in the form of hunting, fishing and slaughtering, and as they are not completely dissociated from war and capitalism, then unconsciously they release the flaws in their mentality which, in spite of their religious way of life, are still holding them down in clouds of heathenism. With a background of their still significant dependence on the killing principle, they cannot enter a mental atmosphere so pure and clean that they will be enabled to see the true answer to life and the eternal Godhead as realistic facts, but they will be left to experience only some kind of reflection of those sublime factors which, by the faculty of feeling, are accessible through divine suggestion and available from those people having true wisdom.
