As we have mentioned previously, one cannot with the body of intelligence alone sense or take advantage of the very highest spiritual memories or recollections consisting of the very highest harmonized energies of feeling and intelligence. These memories can be sensed or utilized only by the power of the body of intuition. While an individual is more or less conscious in carrying out a transference of memories of ordinary visual or aural impressions (made possible by the body of intelligence) in the form of reasoning and reflection, and at the same time has them under the control of the will, so spiritual memories (sensed and utilized by the power of the human being's body of intuition not yet under conscious control) do not appear permanently, but only at such moments when there is no interference by gravity energy; that is to say, interference by lower tendencies taking place in the individual's mind. In such moments, by the power of the body of intuition he can come into contact with his highest memory material. This means that the individual is able - although in an unconscious way and only due to the law of attraction and repulsion - to utilize his truly highest spiritual memories to the benefit of extending the faculty of recognition in order to identify new and high spiritual experiences, this being the same as "cosmic consciousness" or "cosmic sight". Besides this he will have the ability to use that same memory material to create new spiritual picture forms and in this way to increase his creative faculty. As even the more advanced human beings are still for the most part functioning with memories of physical feeling, that is to say, less developed functions of feeling and intelligence, and only momentarily find themselves functioning in pure love, and as only in the latter can the function of intuition take place, then correspondingly experiences of intuition will be brief. When the individual's embryonic body of feeling has come so far in development that it can support day-consciousness and no longer constitutes an embryonic body then the individual's function of love will become permanent as well as the function of intuition which thereby comes under the control of the will in the same way as the function of intelligence already does in the case of terrestrial mankind.
