The individual cannot experience permanent cosmic sight of the eternal realities until he has passed through the Great Birth
206. As the function of intuition takes place outside the control of the will, as already mentioned, and appears only momentarily, which in this case means during an individual's intermittent ecstatic joy or moments of inspiration, the knowledge which arises in the consciousness through this function cannot be a permanent coherent knowledge of such grand dimensions that the real and Eternal Truth (meaning life's greatest analyses or problems) is fully revealed, but on the contrary, only as a revelation of those questions with interruptions corresponding to the interruptions in the individual's state of ecstatic joy and inspiration. Before this condition becomes permanent it is not possible through intuition to get any unbroken ready-made cosmic knowledge but only glimpses of it. This means that any individual who has not met with the Great Birth cannot have permanent cosmic sight but merely cosmic glimpses of eternal realities.
