But as "might" has gradually changed for civilized beings to become identical with material values, and these are represented in a form we call "money", striving for money becomes an ideal for terrestrial mankind in those areas where it is still subjected to the conditions of life of the animal kingdom. Terrestrial mankind's fight for existence is thus mainly a struggle for money. And it is in this, the struggle for valuable goods or money, that the animal instincts and tendencies still existing in mankind are released, making "might" into "right", allowing the strong to exploit the weak and letting the clever manipulate the less clever, and so on. And here it is that State power has started to intervene, has started to counteract such exploitation, thus becoming the strongest factor in keeping in check some of the worst and most crude animal instincts.
