297. But isn't this just what confronts terrestrial people in the question of building their own fate?
It is an illusion to think that one's fate is not just as realistic a combination of substances as a medicine handed out at the chemist.
In the same way as that medicine could not exist without being a mixture of chemicals, i.e. a combination of different forms of energies and substances, so fate itself cannot exist without being a combination of various energies and substances.
That these materials or chemicals are not directly visible in a physical way does not alter the principle.
That, in this case, it is a question of the energies of consciousness, does not change the identity of fate as a reality, but it even makes its construction or "chemical" composition hundreds of times more dangerous than any kind of physical chemical experiment.
While the effect or result of a project involving any physical chemical experiment can be tried out on other creatures and things outside of one's own being or physical body, one has no possibility of trying out the results of the cosmic experiment – that is, the creation of one's own destiny – on anyone other than oneself.
However small the mistake, it will inevitably leave its mark or its effect on one's fate.
In fact no living being can exist without being a "cosmic chemist".
There is no doubt that our whole life and existence – in other words our own destiny – can only be identical with the interplay between the energy we release and that released by Nature.
Each little thought, each opinion or idea, indeed, even a being's smallest sigh is entirely synonymous with those two forms of energy contacting each other.
In this way no living being's consciousness can be isolated from the energies of Nature.
Each individual's mind – in other words his mental processes – is an eternal and continuous interaction between the energies or substances of the I and those of Nature.
Thus the whole of creation will be identical with this interaction and this creation will signify fate, or life experience for every living being.
