Now, not only have we established that there is consciousness – that is to say a "living being", a "cosmic chemist" – behind every produced form, creation or movement, but we have also obtained the first glimpse of the fact that living beings' physical bodies are "created" realities, cosmic-chemical combinations for they exist solely as the result of purposeful creation which again cannot exist without being the expression of logical thinking, thus making the formation of such a body just as valid a proof of a display of consciousness as any of the physical products or things which the living being is able to manifest by means of that selfsame body. But from this we can also see that ordinary physical chemistry – devised and practised by scientists in laboratories and on which books and treatises are written for universities and colleges – in no way registers the whole truth, for if it did, this science would be able to create in those selfsame laboratories – intellectually and with full day-consciousness – "plant" and "animal" machines, that is to say physical bodies or organs corresponding to those through which human beings demonstrate their physical existence. But we have never yet seen and will never see organs like the substance of the brain, heart, kidneys, lungs or glands etc. being created by purely physical means, and which if necessary, as a kind of "reserve", could be inserted into organisms as perfect replacements for ordinary organs, should any of them be damaged or destroyed. Everything produced here by physical means, regarding artificial limbs, eyes, teeth, hair etc. always reveals a lack of precisely that "something" in their chemical composition that classifies ordinary physical organs as "plant" or "animal". Thus, everything produced artificially will always differ from ordinary realities in that they belong to quite another form of existence – that of the "mineral".
