Livets Bog, vol. 2
"Super-consciousness" constitutes an "eternal body" for the individual and functions apart from the organism and is independent of reincarnation. It is the individual's "body of fate".
328. Thus, an individual's whole manifestation is based on the "super-consciousness". Its most important organ, the "fate-element", is a storehouse for an individual's faculties and skills, which in the form of "talent-kernels" are buried in this "element". As an individual's entire display of creative ability originates here, concerning the building up both of his physical and his spiritual bodies and indeed of his entire manifestation, then through this it becomes obvious that this "super-consciousness" is not seated in any of an individual's six bodies of manifestation. If it were, it could not have existed before they were created. As these bodies are subject to both a beginning and an end, it actually becomes a fact that the strengths, the skills and the talents of which these bodies are the result, must be apart from these bodies, and were already present before the latter existed. But they cannot have existed in some kind of "nothing" but must have existed in "something" superior to the disconnection, "something" which can continue to exist independently of the cessation or destruction of bodies. If this were not the case, an individual could not possibly survive the dissolution of his bodies, nor could he have preceded their creation. They would never have been able to come into being at all, for if so, they would have had to create themselves. The substances and the chemicals would have suddenly begun to assemble themselves into the right logical and planned combination. Tremendous and purposeful creation would have come about quite of itself without any planning, without previous consideration, without any brainwork. Chaos would be the order of the day. "Substances" would create their "creator". But all this is the exact opposite of actual fact. Common knowledge tells us that it is not the "product" but its "producer" who is the "creator".
As an individual's physical bodies belong to what is called the "product", they must have had a "producer" and, moreover, one who exists outside of, and previous to, the existence of those bodies. By virtue of its "super-consciousness", which means by virtue of its "X1" and "X2", the living being is thus identical with this "producer". Therefore the "producer" is shown to be an eternal reality. It is also by virtue of that "super-consciousness" that the living being exists as immortal. Through that "super-consciousness" the living being functions permanently. Because of that "super-consciousness" the living being creates its own "reincarnation", in other words it is the true master and creator of all its incarnations and rebirths. It is by virtue of that "super-consciousness" that the living being has an unbroken existence and renews its bodies and tools for manifestation. And it is because of his "super-consciousness" that the individual exists alive and active just as much in what we call "death" as in what we call "life".
As the "super-consciousness" is consequently the living being's most important tool, because it is the organ for bodily construction and is in itself beyond "temporal phenomena", despite its inner ability for transforming, then we may well define this "super-consciousness" as the "body of eternity". It is within this body that the living being stores the consequences of earlier lives in the form of seeds (talent-kernels) which are like grains of corn sown for forming future possible talents. In this way it constitutes a living being's true "body of fate".
It might be contended that skills and talents, aptitudes and character, faults and vices etc. are inherited from parents; but such an assertion does not explain the actual facts. It is merely an unconscious, camouflaged invalidation of the problem itself. It is a flimsy covering over a gaping hole, the logical flaw in any claim to the effect that a living being is one and the same as its physical body and therefore stands or falls by that alone, and is thus quite devoid of any "immortality", and furthermore that reincarnation and other cosmic realities are therefore superstition or imagination. There will be more about this later in special analyses in "Livets Bog".
The "super-consciousness", then, cannot give the individual any experience of which he will be mentally conscious. Its function – based as it is on attraction and repulsion – is solely to organize the energies to be used by that individual in his entire manifestation. But it still applies that "super-consciousness" is in itself also only a "tool" for the individual and does not constitute the individual himself.
