332. But just as instinct-energy has a zone in which it is the predominant life-energy, so do each of the other five basic energies in the same way have a zone in which they dominate. And it is on account of this that we have the six kingdoms or planes of existence which together constitute what we have already come to know as a "spiral zone". All six basic energies are present in each of these kingdoms, but only in the proportions previously mentioned, that is to say with one culminating or dominating, one in a latent state, two increasing and two decreasing. Consequently it will never be possible to find any of the basic energies in a completely pure form. A single basic energy may thus exist as the main one, but only as a governing factor in a combination of all six basic energies where the other five are realities which also have a certain role to play, even though a somewhat subordinate one. This again means that all the combined substance or matter in the world which the living being uses for manifestation and experience of life consists, in reality, of six different "mixtures" of the basic energies.
