As the aim here is simply to give a general idea of the characteristics of the particular features belonging to the kingdoms of the spiral or planes of existence, then for a more detailed analysis I must refer the reader to a later section of "Cosmic Chemistry". However, before continuing, I would like to insert a short comment concerning "feeling- energy", which is actually the predominant energy in the true human kingdom. We have already seen that it constitutes the coldness of the Universe. But one should not imagine, on this account, that the true human kingdom is predominantly an icy waste. Just as the "animal kingdom" – the region where "gravity-" or "fire-energy" has its culmination – is not a flaming sea of fire, neither is the true human kingdom, as mentioned, in any way at all a predominant form of winter cold. Due to the presence of "gravity-energy", the true human kingdom is a "zone of warmth" too, although the average temperature in organisms and objects is naturally not so high as in the "animal kingdom".
      As the illustration shows, "gravity-energy" is still rather prominent, but "feeling-energy" has become so superior to it that neither in the purely outward physical sense nor in the inward mental one can any explosion take place. As "intelligence-energy" is manifesting with such prominence that nothing illogical can take place and thereby all disharmony is impossible, then "feeling-energy's" manifestation in this zone, or kingdom, becomes the same as the wonderful experience or attitude to life which we call "love". In this way, the most blessed sensation in life is identical with a logically guided and well-balanced reaction between heat and cold. Consequently, "love" is not pure "feeling-energy" but is a harmonious cosmic-chemical combination of the three basic energies – "gravity", "feeling" and "intelligence".
      In this way "gravity-energy" plays an essential role in the cosmic-chemical combination of "love". Humanity has of course been accustomed to perceive "love" as an expression of warmth. And this is not without reason, for when waves of love pass through the physical body, it is sensed in the blood-stream as physical warmth. This warmth proves the presence of "gravity-energy". And here the physical release of this explosive energy is able to manifest only in a form fully controlled by "feeling" and "intelligence". It is this controlled form of love we call "caressing". That "love" in reality consists of a specifically determined cosmic-chemical combination, is very easily recognized by the fact that so often the same three basic energies working in people can express themselves in quite a different manner from that of "love". If, for instance, there is too much "gravity-energy", that is, too much "explosive force" compared with the two other basic energies, then the "caressing" becomes more forceful, expressing brutality and becoming harmful. And this is no longer called "caressing" but must be described as "violence". The difference between an affectionate "pat on the cheek" and a "box on the ear" thus originates in the cosmic-chemical combination of basic energies in the consciousness. So an "ear-box" is based on too much "gravity-energy" in the combination, while the affectionate "pat on the cheek" is explosive energy in such a restrained form that it turns out to be just exactly that gentle and caring demonstration which is known as a "caress".
      Moreover, all other physical movements or creative forms which are absolutely guided by logic – that is to say, which are directly useful without killing or wounding – are manifesting controlled explosive energy and consequently, in reality, become the same as "caressing".
      Whether we are sensing the soft coolness of a breeze against our cheek on a warm summer day or we are sitting in an aeroplane travelling over continents and oceans, all of this can happen only through the power of bound or controlled explosive energy.
      The expression "controlled explosive energy" should be understood here as an energy pleasantly adjusted for terrestrial people so that it does not become injurious or brutal, but on the contrary is absolutely beneficial and advantageous. The experience of the breeze or the aeroplane which has the direct purpose of well-being and benefit for people, is thus identical with "caressing". Naturally, this equally applies to all other occurrences in daily life which serve humanity or living beings in a similar way. So, as explosive energy gradually becomes controlled by logic and feeling, life becomes filled with "caresses". And as the true human kingdom is based on this completely logical control of the explosive energy for the benefit of directly creating pleasure for living beings, then the details of daily life in that kingdom will exclusively be identical with "caresses". Therefore the zone of the third basic energy may justly be defined as the "kingdom of love".
