369. As the individual develops the faculty to experience intuitively, he grows away from the "kingdom of wisdom" and begins to dwell in the spiral-cycle's next great kingdom, which here in "Livets Bog" is called the "divine world".
      In this world, as shown on the symbol, it is "intuition-energy" which is culminating and is therefore the dominating factor in conscious life. The energies of "intelligence" and "memory" are also very strongly represented here while the unintellectual energies of "gravity" and "feeling" are shown as weak, so at this point we are faced with forms of experiencing life and existence which express the most perfect culmination of high intellectuality that can possibly exist. There does not exist a more harmonious or more beautiful constellation of the basic energies. We are at the very culmination of the Godhead's own highest mental manifestation or intellectual revelation.
      So what is that existence like? In fact, with regard to the constellation of the basic energies, or their mutual relationship, it constitutes exactly the strongest contrast to – in fact the diametrical opposite of – that form of existence which dominates the animal kingdom, the zone and home of terrestrial people.
      In that kingdom it is gravity-energy which predominates, that is an explosive energy in a more or less uncontrolled form which thus kills, maims and destroys, while in the spiral's highest zone "intuition-energy" is the one which dominates. As the "killing" energy in this zone only exists in a latent form, it is quite inferior to all the other basic energies in that same zone. Consequently there can be no question of any vestiges of the dark and unpleasant conditions under which terrestrial people sigh and groan, such as illness, bodily pain, sorrow, depression, hate and enmity, envy, thirst for power, ambition, vanity, dishonesty, slander, unhappy love, compulsion, oppression and so on.
      Concerning the conditions represented by the combination of basic energies in the "divine world", there is no possibility whatsoever for the presence in this world of those cosmic-chemical mixtures on which the above primitive elements are exclusively based, in that all of them, without exception, consist of more or less uncontrolled "gravity-energy" and here in the "divine world" this energy is present in such minor quantities compared with the other basic energies that any manifestation of its explosive power is an impossibility. Consequently, in this world neither is there any such thing as real mental darkness. But of course this does not mean that the beings there are unaware that such darkness is present on other globes of existence. On the contrary, through their highly intellectual, intuitive endowments they are able to acquire the most complete knowledge altogether possible about this darkness. At the same time it must also be remembered that the memory possessed by such beings has reached such an advanced stage of development that they are able to recall immense vistas of their former lives and existences in the lower spiral zones. In this way they obtain a phenomenal knowledge of life and existence, which is based not merely on external intuitive experiences, but to a very essential degree based on their extensive memory and their own personal events and experiences.
      In addition to this culmination of high intellectuality, the beings in the "divine world" also find themselves in a culmination of absolute liberation. The principle of reincarnation or rebirth is now only in a latent form. In fact, the beings have "bodies" in matter which are no more permanent than that which can be "materialized" or "de-materialized" at the command of thought. "Organisms" stand or fall by the will of their instigator. Beings become visible or invisible all according to their own wishes. Consequently the "divine world" is an eternally and powerfully changing panorama. The details change just as fast as the beings' thoughts. And the things which are visible are only those which are sustained on the basis of thought-concentration.
      But as the thoughts of all the beings here are of nothing but perfection and genius, these details will express the most complete and scintillating harmony and beauty. Therefore the details of this entire world are manifestations of the divine mentality of fully perfect beings.
      As there is no other concentrated matter than that which the beings bring about by their thought-concentrations, then it is this which actually forms their "organisms" or "bodies". These beings are therefore only "clothed" thoughts. So they are not clothed as in the animal world, with organisms and bodies which are solid and indissoluble by thought. Here they are clothed only in an atmosphere of light, divine feelings, ideas and concepts. Conscious life in the "divine world" is an "external" phenomenon.
