386. So it is not necessary for living beings in the "divine world" to make a journey in order to visit friends and acquaintances, times or places. It is only in the physical world that this happens, in that "to travel" only means a transference of the person's physical organism. But as the one in the highest world makes no use of gross physical matter, but has an organism consisting of matter which obeys thought directly and whose super-consciousness is the "fixed point" for this matter, then this "travelling" in the divine world comes to be experienced, or felt, as exactly the opposite of "travelling" in the physical world. In other words, in the highest spheres of the spiral the I feels itself as the "fixed point" in the Universe – the same impression as God might have. Again, the invariable result will be that no "movements" can affect the I itself, but effect only matter. All experience shows, then, that substances – that is to say, the worlds, the beings, all things created, all that exists in matter – must, as shown above, come to the I, and not the I to substances. This is the highest experience of supreme power. This is the experience of having "run the course", which in this sense means having completed the two sections of the spiral – "involution" and "evolution".
      Beings here in the "divine world" are thus culminating in the final outcome of evolution. Here the flourishing of life in its very highest form is revealed. Matter obeys a being's slightest wish or desire. His creative ability is the culmination of perfection. Here variations of his organism or bodily form are boundless. Here he has attained the perfect clarity of thought-manifestation, creative purity and multitudinous abilities, which brings that being to the fulfilment of God's aim and purpose. Indeed, it is here that the son of God, blessed with his creative power, becomes "fruitful" in the most profound sense of the word, and with the variations of his organism becomes "manifold", and in being "one with the Father" has "replenished the earth" and fulfilled the laws and in this way has "dominion" over the Earth – that is, over matter. In truth, a living being here manifests himself to perfection in "God's image after His likeness".
