The experience of the "kingdom of bliss". Everything appears here in mental silver or golden material. The "kingdom of bliss" is further proof of the divine pronouncement, "Everything is very good".
397. However, for the customary inhabitants of the "kingdom of bliss", this "past" is, so to say, the whole spiral which has been lived through, which means experiences from the five previous great kingdoms – the "plant kingdom", the "animal kingdom", the "true human kingdom", the "kingdom of wisdom" and the "divine world". Through the individual's culminating faculty of memory, this immeasurable range of time and space has now become a single domain, an immense kingdom in which this son of God has become king or absolute sovereign. All his fellow beings, every detail of his experiences in times far and near within the scope of the spiral, constitute respectively the subjects and the provinces of this enormous fairy tale world which the godhead has presented to His son. Everything that the being has experienced in this spiral, his joys and sorrows, his fortune and misfortune, everything he has thought, everything he has suffered in darkness and caused others to suffer, all of it exists here copied in glittering shining material. The sting has been taken out of the dark details. This kingdom God has given to His son is not filled with beings, thought-climates or objects which make trouble for him. It is as if the Godhead had laid over His gift the enormous might of His all-pervading creative love. Even the worst experiences in the dark past from the being's passage through the spiral's "hell" (the animal kingdom or "zone of the killing principle") appear here in glowing,sympathetic matter, copied or re-created in the most precious substances of the mental world, emerging in the divine world's indestructible "silver" or "golden" matter – hence the term "gold-copies". Now, in this celestial brilliance, the being sees all the former worlds, globes, heavenly bodies, continents, oceans, spheres and conditions of his previous lives just according to his wishes. His experiences here in the "kingdom of bliss" are distinct from his experiences in the "outside" world in that they constitute a recognition of things already lived through, while in the latter world they consist entirely of quite new and unfamiliar things. In the "kingdom of bliss" he experiences nothing new whatsoever except one thing – that he receives in abundant fullness a new absolutely unshakeable confirmation of God's own perception of life as expressed in the eternal pronouncement, "Everything is very good".
