416. Justice is, of course, the same as fulfilling the laws of life.
Yet there can be no justice in a world whose population does not know the laws of life but sees only "death" in the ocean of details or creative processes which are beyond people's ability to grasp, even though these processes are revealing at least as high a logic and purpose as is an absolute requisite for mankind itself to be able to create with logic and perfection.
This same mankind's moral concepts and behaviour, then, must necessarily be based on worshipping an unreality.
But people do not see this.
They see only "death" and "lifelessness" in everything and consequently fear what, in reality, is an illusory condition.
All their idealism and sense of morality is actually aimed at fashioning a mode of behaviour or conduct which is intended in itself to be a protection against this so-called "extinction" or "death".
But when mankind's mode of conduct is in this way aimed at fulfilling laws and conditions which in reality represent nothing more than imagination or superstition, then that fulfilment can indeed only produce a great cry of injustice against the true world-picture and its creator, Providence or the Godhead.
But as living beings are, so to speak, identical with the Godhead, then this signifies that terrestrial man's ignorance of the true world-picture brings mankind to the point of living in one great perpetration of "injustice" against himself.
And so it is that, in the face of all this "injustice", "doomsday" comes as a beneficial release.
