So this brings us to one of the broad areas where mankind's superstitious concept of life is still in force to an exceptionally great extent and which brings about the "doomsday" which terrestrial man is now beginning to experience. Thus we observe that there where the individual, on account of ignorance, still cannot see any life in "matter", that is in the "mineral kingdom", it is not "matter" which is lifeless, but it is the beings themselves who are "asleep", still without any high intellectual day-conscious ability to be orientated about the true facts.
      The "mineral kingdom" is therefore not a "kingdom of death", but constitutes an immense ocean of energies of consciousness. These energies are thus realistic consequences of the longings of the "beings in bliss" and their desire for experiencing life in a physical form transformed into habitual or automatic functioning. These beings are not, of course, awake and day-conscious of these consequences; but this does not prevent the consequences just mentioned from showing a great deal of lively activity which is not only visible to advanced beings in the physical world, but is also plainly of vital importance for them.
      As mentioned previously, the energies of longing from the "beings in bliss" are gradually transmitted to the spiral's first three important basic energies, that is "instinct", "gravity" and "feeling". When the energy of longing in the "kingdom of bliss" comes into contact with "instinct-energy" which, as indicated on the symbol, has already reached the second stage of its increasing trend, and when the combination of these two energies contacts "gravity-energy", which in the same zone is only at the initial stage of increasing, then a multitude of powerful reactions or forms of energy are set up which one knows on the physical plane under the description – "electricity". And thereby, the first basic material has been organized for the creation or existence of a material world. "Electricity" thus constitutes the bridge connecting the "kingdom of bliss" to the physical world. Everything which exists of invisible forces, from thought-waves which pass through the brains of physical beings to the flow of current in their electric lighting or the driving power in their electric trains, equally from radio waves in their living rooms to the life-force in their physical organisms – all of this, without exception, is in the form of rays or waves coming under the description – "electricity".
