As mentioned before, all repetitions of former lives become successively smaller and smaller according to whether the lives they refer to lie far back in the present spiral's first kingdoms or in the concluding section of the final kingdom of the preceding spiral, that is to say that spiral's "mineral kingdom". It is within the area of this zone that the present animal-like beings have experienced their purely material "fire" or "sun" existence. Here their "organism" still appeared only as a "permanent explosion" (quiescent fire) and as "acute explosions" (ordinary explosions or minor solar eruptions). All the I's which activate the present-day terrestrial animal organisms, at that time inhabited a molten and flaming solar orb whose sparkling fount of light, fiery explosions and incandescent eruptions they also took part in releasing – although naturally they were not aware of the details of such manifestations in their awake day-consciousness. That day-consciousness comprised at this point only details from the inner world of the beings in question which means in this case the same as these beings' memories from former zones of their particular spiral. Obviously these beings possessed as yet no solid physical organism. Their outer manifestations might be defined as automatic power-impulses whose automatism originated in the beings' talent-kernels from their experiences in the physical spheres of the decreasing spiral. As mentioned before, these talent-kernels were set in motion by inner ecstasy, or the energy of bliss which arose when the beings in the "kingdom of bliss" lived through memories from the spiral's former primitive zones, which were such an enjoyable contrast to all the many experiences of harmony in the "divine world". The reliving of these memories created a burst of energy promoting a longing to experience once again the physical manifestations of the outside world. And the convergence of these energies of longing with the energies of "instinct" and "gravity" thus became identical with what is known nowadays as "sunshine".
