502. As beings have different viewpoints in this way and therefore each has a different outlook and that outlook is the same as their experience of life, then these experiences will vary greatly. But as these same experiences absolutely determine the being's whole behaviour and desires and these again determine its influence on the surroundings, on fellow beings and on matter or substances and this influence again creates a reciprocal reaction back to the instigator and this reaction is the same as its "fate", consequently the being itself is building its own "fate". This "fate" is just the current result of its previous influence on its surroundings, fellow beings and matter.
      As our influence on our surroundings, fellow beings and matter at the present time will, in the same way, bring about, or definitely determine, our future fate and will constitute reactions or after-effects from our desires or wishes released today, it is thus of immense practical importance to make these wishes and desires of such a nature that they bring about after-effects which in reality make for true harmony and thereby peace and happiness. And to forward this goal terrestrial man's "relative" basic perception is only indirectly suitable. As mentioned above, in a direct way it creates disagreement and consequent disharmony, strife and suffering. (Indirectly this creates experiences and thereby wisdom).
