But when living beings use highly different energies in their daily handling of consciousness or will, then correspondingly diverse "cosmic energy mixtures" will, of course, arise.
It is these "mixtures of energies" we call "thoughts" or "thought-climates".
These "mixtures of energies" all represent new forms of energy as their faculty of reaction is changed with the addition of each new energy.
Thus the thought-climates become immensely varied.
The whole of consciousness therefore consists of more or less conscious "mixtures of energies" and their consequent reactions.
With this definite increase in the conscious guidance of the will, the living being begins to appear at the stage in the spiral we call "terrestrial man".
At this point in "Livets Bog", therefore, we will in particular go through the most important of these "mixtures of energies", for they actually make up
the "cosmic matter" from which this living being must create its experience of life and its contact with the Universe or Providence which is based on that experience.
