The "force of gravity" is the will-power of the Earth's I.
524. As mentioned before, everything we see around us in the physical world is a more or less obviously "restrained explosion". The bonds which "imprison" the "explosion" are the living being's "desires" and its resulting "will". We see very tangible proof of this "will-power" in the form of what we call the "force of gravity". This force is the same as that which determines that objects "fall" to the ground. It is nothing less than the "will" of the "globe's I" and the attraction it manifests through this "will" towards those energies which make up its physical organism, that is – the Earth. This "organism" is the same as a combination of substances maintained exclusively by the desire and force of attraction of the "globe's I". It is this force which determines that an object has "weight". And we can see that we have exactly the same force within ourselves, for example when we "lift" something. The force we use to do the "lifting" is nothing less than the "gravitational force" released by our own I within our organism. In this case, however, we do not call it the "force of gravity", but the "will".
