Macrocosmic, me-socosmic and microcosmic "forces of gravity".
525. So all the "gravitational pull" in Nature is maintained by the "will" of the "globe's I", whereas when we "lift" something, the support for this comes from our own "will". Just as the "gravitational pull" in Nature is, for us, the "force of gravity", so our "lifting" something is the "force of gravity" for the object which is being lifted. And so we have here two types of "gravitational pull". We can call the first type "macrocosmic gravitational pull", and the second, "mesocosmic gravitational pull", according to the respective "cosmos" from which they emanate.
But as we are in contact with yet another "cosmos", we cannot avoid becoming acquainted with the "force of gravity" from that "cosmos". This is made evident by all those forces which are released through our nourishment, the transformation of substances in our organs and the reactions of the blood and nutrients in our body. It is also the "force of gravity" from this "cosmos" that we observe in the form of the reactions brought about by the various physical chemicals, liquids and substances. When something tastes "sweet", "sour" or "salty", or in another way is sensed as pleasant or unpleasant by the tongue or other points of contact in our organism, it is just expressing that a force is being emanated. The contact between this force and the constituents of our tongue, creates a reaction. It is this reaction we call "sweet", "sour" or "salty", according to the "substance" that has produced it.
Every "substance" constitutes "movement", this being the reason why it can be "tasted", that is, it causes a reaction through contact with the substances or matter in our physical body. It is also the energy, or types of movement of substances which causes health or sickness in organisms. So the faculty of reaction belonging to a substance is also the "release of will", and is thereby a "gravitational force". But as the forces in "substances", or this form of "gravitational force", emanates from "microcosmic" beings, then we will call this "gravitational force" a "microcosmic gravitational force".
