Livets Bog, vol. 2
If "something No. 2" and "something No. 3" did not consist of temporal things.
544. "Views", however, are things which are created or produced, and are temporal and transient. And the whole of life consists of just this "transience". If "something No. 2" and "something No. 3" did not consist of transient factors, and possessed an eternal nature only by reason of the fact that the transitoriness of their details could only come into being synonymously with a corresponding birth of new factors, then the Universe would be without consciousness, without life and without movement. In reality, the whole world would be just a complete "nothing".
It may safely be assumed as an irrevocable fact for everyone that the Universe does not exist as a complete "nothing". Its absolute existence is able to happen exclusively on the basis of its identity as the "trinity" referred to earlier. So this "trinity" constitutes the exact three conditions required for a "something" to appear as a "living being" and thereby be the true source of all "cosmic chemistry".
