550. We have now been to the very highest peaks in the series of life's analyses and looked out beyond the world of illusions. We have gained an insight into the "fixed point" in all things, which is behind movement, form, colour and size. We saw the concluding factor of all things, "a something that is'; and no living being, not even the Godhead, can reach any higher result. When a series of analyses which are one hundred per cent in contact with the laws of logic concludes with the factor, "a something that is", then there is nothing more to analyse; and with this conclusion the end of the road has been reached. By virtue of the laws of logic we have been guided to the one and only absolutely first cause of the Universe, which, on account of its identity as "an eternal something that is", constitutes the only existing cause in the Universe that does not have any preceding cause. This "something" can therefore also be expressed as "the causeless cause", and precisely through this identity, it demonstrates as a fact its own eternal existence and immortality.
