That this fulfilment of purpose – which in reality is the same as the reactions of substances or matter – gives the living being access to events and experiences and thereby to an aptitude in thinking, creating and experiencing, can only make the fourth basic element of life's mystery an indispensable advantage; for without thinking or experiencing, "nothing" would have its fixed domain there where life and existence are now the unlimited rulers.
