Livets Bog, vol. 2
In the absolute sense there is no such thing as "sin" or "sinners".
613. This "cosmic breathing process" thus constitutes a being's entire general fate. To the same extent as he has "inhaled", he will manifest as "light", while it will be "dark" wherever he has "exhaled". This "cosmic breathing" thus presents itself as an eternal and unavoidable automatic function. Mental light and darkness are natural, vitally necessary characteristics of the individual's eternal existence just as his physical breathing process is a natural and vitally necessary characteristic of his purely physical manifestation. That a being appears in daily life as a dark, homicidal producer of suffering, is therefore just as natural a feature of his existence as his appearance as a "saint" or with an angelic character. In reality, no manifestation whatsoever has anything to do with "sin". In an absolute sense there exists neither "sin" nor "sinners". All of it consists of natural phases in the living being's "cosmic breathing process" or of his journeying from an experience of culminating mental light to an experience of a culmination of mental darkness, upon which two culminations absolutely all cycles and consequently all experience of life is based.
