Although the two categories of consciousness just named are in no special contact with, or on the same wave-length as, the general structure of the Universe itself, and therefore have not yet to any marked degree developed the talent-kernels necessary for understanding life's greatest humane quality – that is, love – there is still another category of beings which has been referred to in the above-mentioned chapter in "Livets Bog". Those people have essentially passed through the zones of suffering in the spiral and have managed to develop in their consciousness a balance between feeling and intelligence. On the strength of this balance they are more or less on a "wave-length" with the world-structure – indeed, it has become, so to speak, part of their inner being. The structure of their consciousness with its feeling controlled by intelligence and its intelligence controlled by feeling actually appears in the particular likeness or image of the world-structure. Consequently their character and moral attitude runs on the same lines as do the very laws of the Universe. They are, although in many cases unconsciously, in close contact with the humanity and the love which is central to the Godhead's revelation of the Universe. It is no wonder then, that for them the divine spirit which will eternally "move over the face of the waters" – or as a more intellectual concept "the science of love" – is the same as a summer shower is for the flowers, namely an immeasurably purifying and invigorating source of life. They will in more or less outstanding measure, absorb the Godhead's divine wisdom, that is, the absolute revelation of life's mystery. Indeed, it will gradually be an indispensable divine sustenance deeply within the micro-regions of their innermost consciousness. Such beings are the "coming generations" who the "Comforter the Holy Spirit" (the eternal science of love) is to come and "overshadow" and initiate into the true solution of life's mystery, i.e. the Godhead's presence within the zones of terrestrial man.
      Centuries have now passed since this marvellous assurance from the mouth of a divine messenger began to vibrate throughout the world like a revelation of light. The "coming generations" have long since been born. We have met them here in actual flesh and blood. That "wave-length" of the world's structure – the culmination, that is, of humanity and love, the true intellectuality of life – will exclusively be and remain the highest ideal and basis for these beings' existences. They are the "good ground" or the true bearers of a genuine world-civilization. Wherever they pass on Earth peace will shine forth. There the "new Heaven and new Earth" will give out light and cast its intellectual radiance over the Universe and its thousands of other stars.
