The living being lives between two heavens, or two worlds. The basis for lasting peace, cosmic consciousness and bliss.
624. Therefore living beings are living between two "heavens", namely that of their inner being, which is the same as the sphere of their mind or consciousness, and an outer heaven which is the same as the physical skies.
While they themselves create all the clouds, all the air-currents and the whole atmosphere in their own inner world, it is the macro-being which creates directly or indirectly the meteorological clouds, atmospheric currents and other weather phenomena.
The living being's manifestation and experience of life then, solely consists of creating harmony between the inner "heavens" or zone of consciousness and the macrocosmic worldly sphere, otherwise the two worlds would be in the very highest degree a direct hindrance to each other.
A living being's ill-judged juggling with the energies or substances prevents Nature's perfection of creation, just as Nature's counter-reactions become a great opposing force to the perfection of that being's creations – indeed, making them wholly or partly impossible.
And thus the so-called "unhappy fate" is brought about.
To bring one's thoughts and one's will – that is, one's talent for wishing – to such a flawless state that one is only able to wish for the right thing, is identical with that which we call "perfection".
It is such a habitual state of consciousness that has now become the absolute basis for reaching the highest, most perfect and happiest fate in the spiral.
It is this fate which terrestrial man looks forward to as the coming "everlasting peace", "cosmic consciousness" or "blessedness".
But in order to create harmony between the individual's two worlds there has to be an understanding of the reaction of energies and an absolutely correct comprehension of the individual's own true inner world and that of the outer world.
First of all one must know one's position, just as much in the regions of the inner world as in those of the outer world.
For otherwise one will "lose one's way" and more or less regard what one sees and experiences as something other than what it really is.
And when one interprets things wrongly, one will undoubtedly act wrongly.
And when one acts wrongly, the results must inevitably be wrong as well.
And then life becomes full of disappointment, suffering and darkness.
