But the experience of life is now an overriding fact, and the only balancing out that can unfailingly guarantee that the aforementioned extraordinary variety in the conditions under which the beings come into the world should not be an expression of total chaos is rebirth or reincarnation. The Christian church tries to teach that there is a meaning to the variety of these conditions by promising an eternal life after death, with a "paradise" and a "hell" where "good" and "evil" respectively are balanced out. But such a delayed balancing out cannot justify a being's present agony. And as a result this teaching merely shows that human beings have not been satisfied by the thought that their fates in their present terrestrial lives could be a collection of chance circumstances and thereby an expression of a real or absolute chaos. And since Nature, as we have already stated, has no absolute "chaos", no absolute "waste", and therefore no place for absolute chance, the living being's rebirth must be an indelible factor in its cosmic analysis. Through this rebirth the phenomena in the being's present fate come under the same perfect logic as that in which Nature in all other fields manifests itself through life and cycles.
