758. We are therefore always surrounded by beings that particularly constitute the sensory tools through which the Godhead senses us, and through which we receive an answer from him, even though these beings do not always exist as beings within our usual physical surroundings.
With the help of these mental beings the intimate communication with the Godhead becomes possible.
Without these beings any form of intimate appeal to Providence or the Godhead would be in vain, because this or that being would then be without the sensory tools through which this communication can be experienced.
But thanks to the existence of these beings the intimate appeal to the Godhead can take place and will gradually make the living being or son of God more and more familiar with the Father.
One cannot avoid becoming familiar with a being that one often talks to or that one turns to frequently.
And eventually the result of every being's intimate interaction with the eternal Providence will be that
this being will no longer be able to avoid seeing this Providence as a personal being whose exercise of will has been, and will continue to be, so overwhelmingly in favour of the son of God that it is impossible for this being in future appeals to refrain from exclaiming, "Father, not my will, but thine be done".
And this is where the perfect interaction between the God and the son of God begins.
Here the son begins to experience the Father's life and his own condition as being in that "image".
And it is this experience that we call "cosmic consciousness".
After this the son of God will talk more clearly and truly, more intimately and sincerely, with his eternal Father than with any other living being.
