A created object represents different forms of movement, not only in space but also in state. There is movement in everything that can be found within the area of "X3". Movement is a prerequisite of every object's accessibility to sensory perception
784. But it is not only "movement" in space that we are talking about here.
If we, for example, direct our gaze towards some so-called "fixed point", whether it be a rock, a mountain or a cliff, we cannot see that these realities in space have moved one single millimetre.
But we do know that they, along with the Earth and everything else on it, are, as already mentioned, driven forwards at a speed of about 30 kilometres per second.
This "movement" takes place in space.
But these realities also have another "movement".
It has long been a scientific fact that no material substance is eternal.
It is subject to what we call the "tooth of time".
This means that it ages, crumbles, disintegrates and thereby ceases to be visible in the form it has had for perhaps thousands of years.
Over these thousands of years this rock or this mountain or cliff has been subjected to a gradual "transformation".
This "transformation" is also an expression of "movement".
If there were no "movement", there would have been no "transformation".
This "movement" was not a "movement" in space, which in this case means in distance, but a "movement" in state.
Over a certain period of time the realities in question represented a "movement" from one state to another.
This "movement" cannot be expressed as a certain number of "kilometres per second".
It is not a moving of the objects' completely unchangeable quantity or cubic capacity from one "place" to another "place".
Here the objects remain in the same "place".
In this case the "movement" is, as we have said, a transformation from one "state" to another "state".
As this transformation is in this case the same as "disintegration", which can also be expressed as "shrinkage", we can describe this form of "movement" as a certain number of cubic metres of shrinkage every thousand years, or some other indication of time that fits the particular circumstance.
But the "movement" can also express itself as "weight".
An object can increase in weight.
This increase can for instance be expressed as a certain number of grams or kilos a day, a week or a month, according to the conditions present.
"Movement" can also take place in "light", that is to say in "colour".
When we say that an object has faded, what does this mean other than that the object has "moved" from one state of colour to another?
If we divided the colour that the object in question originally had into a scale of a certain number of shades from the faded state to the normal state, also here we would be able to say that the "movement", that is to say the degree to which the object had faded, advanced at a certain number of shades per hour, per week or per month, or some other time.
Just as "movement" has been present in the objects we have mentioned, so is "movement" present in absolutely everything that is accessible to sensory perception or experience, which means absolutely everything that lies within the boundaries of the area that we call "X3".
It is precisely on the basis of "movement" that sensory perception can take place, since in every situation whatsoever this will absolutely always constitute nothing other than a reaction of one object's contact with another object.
Since this contact is actually identical to "movement", it could not come about if the "movement" did not exist.
