899. But as the cosmic analyses in "Livets Bog" have shown us, the ways of the Lord are to the advanced researcher not past understanding, a fact that is also confirmed by the world redeemer's teachings about the eternal answers.
"Hell" is a reality that exists, but in no case whatsoever can it be eternal, just as in no case whatsoever can it in itself be an expression of, or be created out of, wrath or as a punishment unleashed by the Godhead.
And just as the "kingdom of heaven" is not merely a spiritual kingdom but will be made up of the beings' later physical lives once these have become more perfect and free of the animal, killing traditions that they are so strongly influenced by at present, in the same way "hell" is not merely a spiritual phenomenon either but is made up of all the effects that arise when the individual juggles in imperfect ways with matter and substances.
As the individual's juggling with matter is the same as its entire way of life and being, that is to say its satisfaction of desires, the satisfaction of each desire will be based exclusively on the individual's contact with matter or its releasing of cause and effect.
Even the faintest of sighs from an individual is a contact with matter, a release of forces that in turn becomes the cause of new effects.
These effects are the individual's fate.
No being can therefore exist without, through its very existence, forming fate.
Whether this fate will be light or dark, happy or unhappy, will depend on what kind of causes and effects the individual with his desires brings about.
If he is animated solely by desires the satisfaction of which promotes releases of forces or energies that can be nothing other than beneficial to the individual, his fate can be only a direct experience of these beneficial effects, whereas, on the other hand, if his desires are such that his satisfaction of these desires promotes releases of forces or forms of energy that are extremely unpleasant or harmful, he is bound to end up living amidst these harmful effects.
And as a result, the biblical phrase: "Whatever a man sows, that will he also reap" emerges as a scientific fact.
The individual is therefore the most fundamental cause of his own fate.
He is completely free to create his fate exactly as he wishes.
If as a result he ends up experiencing a fate that he is extremely unsatisfied with, a fate full of sorrow and suffering, it is entirely due to the fact that he has released energies or set forces in motion that admittedly satisfied his temporary desires but at the same time became the cause that released the effects that are today making his fate unhappy.
Satisfying desires, which is the same thing as experiencing life, can therefore be dangerous, just as much as it can be free from danger or be pleasant.
An unhappy fate is the effects of satisfying dangerous desires, whereas a happy fate is the effects of satisfying desires that are not dangerous.
The art of creating a happy or perfect fate consists of satisfying exclusively desires that are not dangerous.
