907. The Earth has all it needs in order to create on its surface a perfect, harmonious human kingdom. This aspect of the matter is therefore in order. What is not completed in the great transformation process are the living beings themselves. The mentality of even the most advanced beings in evolution (terrestrial human beings) has still not reached the stage where it is in contact with the abundance of vital necessities and resources that they possess in the form of the Earth. Their primordial, animal instinct of self-preservation – a phenomenon that is based more on selfish desire and bodily, physical strength than on intellectual or unselfish thinking – has naturally meant only that the beings with an animal nature, animal desires, strength, power and cunning, cast themselves upon the good things in life that they desire, without giving any consideration as to whether this might cause death or injury to other beings, just as long as they save or can maintain their own lives.
      As the Earth is so abundantly equipped that it can provide every single terrestrial human being with an extraordinary wealth of vital necessities, which offer happiness and well-being, it becomes clear that these beings' attitude towards this abundance is largely unfinished. They flay and tear at one another, they create sorrow, suffering and bodily harm, they murder, slaughter and desecrate their surroundings in order to obtain things of value, both physical and mental, that they collectively own in such abundance that it is impossible to use them up. At the same time as the Earth is travelling through the heavens with its passengers enveloped in a profusion of all the things that they need to create well-being and bliss in their lives, these same beings are killing and murdering each other using weapons that create tremendous pain and suffering. In truth, they are completely unaware of the divine richness that they are immersed in. They have besmirched everything with their blood. They are drowning out the divine harmony of the spheres with their screams of anguish and their death-rattles. The sound of "weeping and gnashing of teeth" can be heard from this celestial vessel, which is otherwise so harmonious, beautiful and bright as it sails through endless space, bathed, warmed and coloured by the radiant atmosphere of the sun, and with a view of other heavenly light sources, sun cities, spheres and dwelling places in God's eternal world.
