In "life substances nos. 7 and 8" we have, in reality, witnessed the concentrated essence of all experience of life.What can an experience of life be other than a "receiving" and a "giving out" of energy?And what else can be used to create a more pleasurable or happier sensation of life than precisely these two factors?How is it possible for two beings to "feel at one" with each other, other than through such a "receiving" and "giving out" of energy?Did not the beings come to constitute precisely "God's image after his likeness" where they were each a one hundred per cent satisfaction of the other's desire?Was it not just this perfect satisfaction of each other's desire that was "heaven", "paradise", "happiness" or "bliss"?This highest sensation in life, this happiness or bliss we will call "life substance no. 9".
