990. So how are we to find this other centre? Where can we find something that is not created? It is really not as difficult as one at first might think. At the stage that material knowledge has reached today, it has become established as fact that not even matter or substance can perish. "Something" cannot become "nothing", just as "something" cannot come from "nothing" either. This in turn means that the combined clump of matter that is everywhere in existence, or more precisely what we call the "universe", has never begun and can never ever come to an end. As this "clump of matter" cannot therefore become greater or smaller and cannot be summed up using any such term as "evil" or "good", since the universe contains all the good and all the evil that exists and thus constitutes everything at one and the same time, we are then able to see that its analysis can be summed up in only one single concept, namely, "something that is". And here we have before us the first cosmic answer, that is to say, an answer that expresses an object's true identity and not an analysis of one object's relationship to another object. As the universe is made up of everything that exists, it cannot be compared with anything else whatsoever. There is therefore nothing outside the universe for which it can be "large" or "small" or in any other way give rise to any contrasting relationship. Its analysis as "something that is" is therefore not a "relative" analysis but an "absolute" one. It does not constitute an analysis of a relationship between the universe and something else; it is an absolutely unchangeable and unshakable analysis of the universe's very own nature. So here we have found "something", the analysis of which is not a "movement" established with the help of another "movement". As a result this analysis remains eternally unchangeable. The "something that is" is therefore eternally unchangeable. But a "something" that is eternally unchangeable is beyond "movement". And a "something" that is not movement can constitute only an absolute "fixed point". The universe's highest analysis or identity as "something that is" is therefore the unshakable "fixed point" behind all life or every form of existence. We will therefore express this "fixed point" as "life substance no. 55".
