998. The "something" we call the "I" is therefore not "movement", and it can therefore in its quality of being an unwavering "fixed point" highlight the contrast that everything surrounding this "fixed point", in the form of "movement", constitutes. In every description or in every expression of manifestation or life these three kinds of movement will of necessity be directly present, while the "fixed point", as a result of the registering or experience of these kinds of movement, will to an equal degree be indirectly present. As these three "kinds of movement" are thus absolutely vital substances, without which the experience of life would not be possible, we will express "movement 1" as "life substance no. 57", "movement 2" as "life substance no. 58" and "movement 3" as "life substance no. 59".
