The "X existence" of the living being can never become accessible to direct, practical experience

But thanks to the fact that no experience whatsoever can occur without it being a reaction resulting from the imbalance between two contrasts – the overall balance cancelling out both contrasts and thereby precluding sensory perception or visibility – the eternal existence of the living being as an "X existence" can never become directly accessible for realistic experience. For a realistic experience of this eternal existence would be a total obliteration of the consciousness of the being in question. A "something that is" would certainly remain, but who would enjoy the pleasure of its existence? Something that is not alive can, as regards consciousness, represent only an "eternal nothing" or absolute death.
