Since the "living being" is a unit consisting of "time" and "eternity", the analysis that it is immortal is based on unshakeable reality
1070. "Eternity" does not thus constitute anything that points to a created phenomenon, but is solely the "I" of the living being. "Eternity" is not something "outside" the living being, but is the living being's own, most profound constituent, the axis, the foundation around which "time" or "life" moves. "Time" and "eternity" together constitute an indivisible unit. Nor is this unit anything that exists "outside" the living being, but is the living being itself. And nothing else exists. Without "time" and "eternity" there would be no "living being", and without the "living being", "time" and "eternity" would not exist. And with this, the identity of the living being and the analysis that it is immortal are based firmly on imperishable reality.
