The difference between the nature of the terrestrial human being and the being of bliss
1110. That the beings here on the physical plane only rarely or in glimpses experience this highest, innermost sphere is due to the fact that their entire sensory faculty reaches its peak in "outer", physical experience. One can perhaps say that the terrestrial human being is a being that to a certain extent is in the process of "gathering" experiences, while the "being of bliss" is a being that to a corresponding extent is in the process of enjoying the "gathered" experiences in the form of "ripe memories" or "gold copies". So here we see clearly that the terrestrial human being and the "being of bliss" constitute representatives of two very different sections in the spiral cycle. The specific difference between the natures of the two beings is thus expressed by the fact that the terrestrial human being's "awake day-consciousness" dominates in the "outer physical world", while its "day-consciousness" is only very insignificant on the "plane of bliss" or in the "kingdom of bliss". The "day-consciousness" of the "being of bliss", on the contrary, dominates on the "plane of bliss" and cannot to any great extent make its presence felt on the physical plane.
