How the terrestrial human being experiences the "kingdom of bliss" on the physical plane
1111. In the orange-coloured section in symbol no. 9, which constitutes the domain of the terrestrial human being or the animal kingdom, it will be noticed that the principal physical energy, the "energy of gravity" (fire), which is the actual motive power behind all movement and thereby behind all physical life, is at its peak, while the "energy of memory" or "bliss" is at its peak in the indigo-coloured section near the top of the symbol, and borders on being at its latent stage in the zone of the terrestrial human being. On the physical plane the terrestrial human being can therefore, as previously mentioned, experience the supreme nature of the "kingdom of bliss" only in the form of a "ripe recollection" of one or other event or experience from a stage long since past in its present life, chiefly from its childhood days, suddenly emerging in its "memory". If this emerging "recollection" gives rise in the consciousness to an overwhelming rapture or joy that entirely envelops the event in such a radiant glow that the being will not allow itself be torn away from this recollection, but returns to it time and time again in order to dwell in the pleasure of the reminiscences, then it is a genuine "experience of bliss". Then through the "body of memory" the consciousness absorbs an inspiration, joy and pleasure that does not come from any present "outer" physical nature or "outer" physical sensory perception, even though sensory perception can certainly be the provoking factor for the experience. Then the being experiences a spiritual, glorified view of a phenomenon that once was realistic, physical experience. It is a "terrestrial" event seen from a "superterrestrial" or "heavenly" point of view. And in this way we will gradually come to see all our primitive and material experiences with "heavenly eyes".
