1128. As world redemption, as well as the wisdom handed down through the "Bible" and other sacred books, puts forward "neighbourly love" as the fulfilment of the laws of life, and thereby as the very highest and most perfect form of existence or experience of life, then it is here established as fact that it does not inspire "maternal" or "family love"; on the contrary, it aims at an entirely different form of sympathy, a sympathy so penetrating that it makes all "living beings" "one family", and every single member of this "family" "brothers". And so we see here a "parent principle", "brother principle" or "family principle" of quite other dimensions than that which can be manifested through the selfish or vital union of a specifically "male being" and a specifically "female being", that is, their becoming one with one another.
