1156. Were not "Adam" and "Eve" at a certain stage terms for the "imperfect" or "unfinished" being that today rules or has dominion over the world? Are the modern "Adam" and "Eve" not in need of God's guidance about what they should eat? Would it not be good for these beings to think a little about what the eternal Creator has provided as the perfect food for the perfect human being? Have the Creator's words about this matter not resounded throughout the world down through the millennia? And have these words not been translated into all the principal languages of the world: "Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the Earth, and every tree, in which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat"? God does not say anything here about the terrible system of slaughter or principle of butchery that the modern "Adam" and "Eve" has gradually induced itself to believe is essential to the maintenance of life. On the contrary, does not the fifth* commandment admonish all peoples: "Thou shalt not kill"? This commandment does not state that it is only "human beings" that one must not kill. On the contrary during the great process of creation the divine voice said of the animals, "Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the Earth in the open firmament of heaven. And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the Earth. And the evening and the morning were the fifth day. And God said, Let the Earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the Earth after his kind; and it was so; and God saw that it was good."
      There is nothing in this divine speech or life command to the subsequently emerging "human being" about it having to wantonly murder these beings, about it having to be a great hindrance for these beings' fulfilment of the divine command, "Be fruitful, and multiply" or their populating of the waters in the sea, their populating of the air, their populating of the continents. There is nothing in the divine voice that commands "Adam" to "eat the animals" or its fellow beings, which are equipped with "living souls". And is it not conceivable that it was precisely this deviation from the voice of the Almighty that was the "forbidden fruit" of the "tree of knowledge"? Is it not precisely this deviation from divine life that causes pain and suffering? And are these not in turn fundamental "experiences", and are "experiences" not the same as "knowledge", and is "knowledge" not the "fruit" of the "tree of knowledge"? And would one have any detailed, personally experienced knowledge about the true nature of life if one had never met its opposite? No, absolutely not. On the contrary, one can certainly possess the perfect life's ability to fulfil the law of love, such as is always the case in the first zones of a new spiral, where life is stimulated by the beings' innate state of cosmic consciousness from its previous spiral as an automatic function or "C-knowledge", which appears here in the new spiral as so-called "instinct".
