1168. And the divine accounts end with this existence in light. It is quite outside their scope to express or make known what happens later in this existence of light. The task of the principle of world redemption, through the above-mentioned accounts, has thus been only to "guide" the beings from the "light" through the "darkness" and forward to the "light" again. These accounts begin with the existence of "Adam" and "Eve" in the "light", and end with their return to the "light" or the Godhead; in other words, they express or deal only with the part of the living being's life that constitutes its passage through the "dark zone" of the spiral cycle. It is not the task of these divine words and sentences to constitute a specific "guidance" for its passage through the "light zone" of this cycle. But here such "guidance" is of course quite superfluous, since the "creation of Adam" has long since been completed. Here "Adam" has become the "human being in God's image after His likeness" and thereby become "one with the Father".
