After having familiarised ourselves with world redemption's particular methods of interpretation in the form of the religious or sacred accounts handed down to us, it will not be difficult for us to understand what lies behind the concept of the "serpent" and the other great principles in the sacred versions. It is true that, quite independent of these versions, we already possess the complete analysis of the world picture, which can be summed up in the great answer, "Everything is very good", but precisely for this reason it will be important to show, by using our knowledge or higher insight, that the very highest answers of life are encapsulated in the highest religious traditions or accounts that have been handed down to us. By showing that these are not pure fabrication or products of an abnormal imagination, such as the cold, materialistic terrestrial human being would make them out to be, but that behind their metaphorical or symbolic appearance they express the very highest form of normality, which in turn can exist only as the absolutely eternal truth, we create a bridge between "dogmatic belief" and spiritual science. And we must therefore once again dwell a little on world redemption's imagery of the past.
