Livets Bog, vol. 4
The passage of the son of God through darkness is finished. The heavenly light in the form of the embrace of the two sexes in marriage begins to flicker. The spiritually "dead" son of God begins to miss heaven, his divine Father and his own life
1228. With a world, a flock or a majority of such beings the contrast to the Godhead is complete, indeed, so complete that the eternal son of God can no longer see or sense absolute reality. Only the process of murder is life, its manifestation is "justice", the murder scene is the "field of honour", his own immortal I and the eternal Godhead are illusions, naivety, superstition or foolishness. The son of God cannot get any further away from the eternal Father. He has become a denier and persecutor of his own immortal existence. He is his own worst enemy. And with his ingenious ability to use the killing principle, he has become "death" instead of "life". But this was, as will be remembered, the goal of the "eating of the tree of knowledge". It was the fulfilment of God's promise about the effect of this eating. And with this fulfilment the heavenly light in the form of the sexual embrace of the two sexes thereby of its own accord inevitably began to flicker. We see too how this embrace, which means, the divine principle of marriage, the divine connection between "Adam" and "Eve" is beginning to degenerate. The heavenly light is extinguished. As a living corpse the spiritually dead son of God wanders across the Earth. The prodigal son begins to miss heaven, his divine Father and his own eternal life.
