1273. But would it be any different if the "energy of feeling" did not exist? The "energy of feeling" is, as will be remembered, the "ingoing" or contractive energy or force. If no "contractive" energy existed, there would of course be nothing one could set against the "outgoing" energy. It would then be impossible to create the "tension" between the two energies that we today know as bodily or physical force, as well as the "forces of Nature". All release of force can exist only in the form of the "tension" that arises when the reactions of the above-mentioned two energies come into contact with one another. This is perhaps more easily understood when one remembers that "gravity" and "feeling", in their most inorganic form, appear respectively as the "fire" and "coldness" of the universe. Without these two energies of consciousness all bodily, material and spiritual force would thus be a total impossibility. And without force no I would be able to build up or maintain an organism. And without an organism there would be no manifestation of any living being. No Godhead and no son of God would then ever have thought a thought. Where today the "experience of life" sparkles, shines and vibrates across eternity, time and space, an eternal "nothing" would reign supreme.
