1277. Without the emergence of the "ray-formed" variation of matter or "substance", no intellectual or mental life could exist, and thereby no form of superphysical or spiritual state of consciousness either. No "spiritual" worlds would exist. But if no "spiritual" worlds existed, no physical worlds of any kind could ever exist either. The physical worlds, as well as the local details that are found in these, are all without exception results or products of physically invisible "spiritual" life or creative consciousness behind these details. Is not the emergence of physical planets and worlds one single magnificent manifestation of a planning and creative, invisible mentality or consciousness existing behind them? Does this creation not begin as luminous clouds in the dark universe that condense more and more to become the physical phenomena that we know as stars, suns or galaxies? Is it not a manifestation of logic or a purposeful plan that this luminous substance increasingly "condenses" into planets and worlds? Does it not constitute the very source of life in all physical existence? Is it not also a link in a purposeful plan that these worlds must "burn out" and cool down in order to become "substance", material and a dwelling place for not only mineral formations but also vegetable and animal life or physical existence in flesh and blood? But is not the existence of this flesh and blood or the life of these cold worlds still dependent on sunlight and warmth?
