The fact that "cosmic chemicals" in certain respects are "poisonous" does not render them less useful or dispensable than poisonous physical chemicals. They have therefore nothing whatsoever to do with "evil", but are a vital necessity in the world plan
1291. And this divine ordinance in the eternal world plan is so wise that no part of this huge structure, this huge, refined manifestation of the "killing principle", is in any way "sinful" in the absolute sense. The mentality and all-embracing manifestation of the eternal Father is so immensely wise that no part of it constitutes "injustice". The divine love is so all-pervading that even things that terrestrial human beings call "devilish", "ungodly", "sodomitical" and "unloving", are, in all their gory, suffering-inflicting brilliance, absolutely indispensable phenomena in the structure of the world plan as a whole and are thereby in the absolute sense totally beyond "sin", and have thus nothing whatsoever to do with real "evil". As "substance of thought" or material of consciousness, the above-mentioned phenomena are certainly "poisonous", but is it more "sinful" or "evil" that "poisonous" substances are to be found within the material of consciousness, within that aspect of conscious mental life or existence that constitutes the mental world, than that "poisonous" materials, such as "hydrochloric acid", "arsenic" and "sulphuric acid" or other more or less lethal substances, are to be found in the physical world? Are not both "fire" and "water" in themselves deadly factors? Have not thousands of people and animals throughout the ages been burned to death or drowned? And yet the maintenance of our physical existence would be absolutely impossible without the presence of fire and water. And similarly, are not "hydrochloric acid", "arsenic" and "sulphuric acid", along with many other "poisonous" substances, immensely useful in the cultural life of terrestrial human beings? Only the primitive human being would think of saying that "hydrochloric acid" or other poisonous acids or substances are "devilish" products or "sinful" phenomena. Is it not conceivable that branding all "poisonous" substances of thought or materials of consciousness as "devilish", "sinful" or "evil" is a consequence of primitivity or cosmic ignorance? Why should "poisonous" substances of thought be more "sinful", "devilish" or "evil" than "poisonous" physical substances? No, there is absolutely nothing whatsoever in the world that is absolutely "sinful", "evil" or "devilish". Everything is vitally necessary in the divine world plan.
