Why the life of "Adam" and "Eve" came to be called the "Fall" despite the fact that it was not a "fall", but an absolutely divine arrangement
1295. That the "Fall" is a divine arrangement and not a "devilish" invention is revealed to us as a fact through the circumstance that it is promoted exclusively by an organic structure that is introduced completely into the life of the son of God through the "creation of Eve" and the consequent transformation of "Adam". We have seen that the first emergence of this "transformation", and the deadly state or opposite of light engendered by it, was absolutely not something the son of God found unwelcome, but was once the absolutely essential inspiration and stimulus for the maintenance of life, and was thus at the same point in time the highest ideal imaginable for the son of God and the only thing that gave access to what, for the particular attitude and sensory endowment of the beings at that time, seemed a "paradise" beyond "death". This "fall" thus conceals a phenomenon or form of life that was absolutely imperative in order to be able to give the beings a paradisiacal zest for life and joy in existing at this point in time. That this divine phenomenon, the world plan's divine creation of the conditions for satisfying or fulfilling such a demand, has received "a change of name" later in the history and perception of mankind, and has been degraded to being called the "Fall" or "hell", and is perceived as something that was not created by the Godhead, but by a "fallen angel", the "devil" or the "serpent", is of course merely a consequence of the "death" that was already predicted as a consequence of precisely the form of existence of this "Fall" or the "eating of the tree of knowledge".
